I teach wheel-throwing and hand-building to groups and individuals in Canberra. 

BEGINNER HAND-BUILDING CLASS:

A two-hour beginner hand-building workshop is an opportunity to try out ceramics in a fun environment and create your own piece of unique pottery which will be glazed and fired for you to keep.

In this workshop you will learn the three main hand-building techniques:

• pinch pots
• coiling

• slab-building

These techniques form the basis of endless clay vessels, and during the class you will have the opportunity to make and refine your very own pot, cup, bowl, dish or vase. Your finished, glazed work will be available to pick up in 4-8 weeks.

This workshop requires a minimum of 6 students to run. Get together a group of friends for an introduction to the magic of clay.  I am also available to come to you to teach at gatherings/baby showers/birthdays etc.
